InvoiceGenerator ("we," "us," "our") takes a minimal approach to data: this policy sets out what little we do collect on invoicegenerator.org.uk (the "Service"), why, and what say you have over it.

1. What the Invoice Tool Never Sees

As a guest, the invoice builder runs entirely on your own device. The business details, client information, line items, logo and figures you type in stay inside your browser and are never transmitted to or kept on our servers — refreshing or closing the tab simply clears them.

2. What We Do Collect

  • Account details. If you register, we hold your name, email address and the invoices/customers/expenses you choose to save, so your account works and your data is there when you come back.
  • Contact form messages. Getting in touch via our Contact page means we receive whatever you enter there, used only to reply to you.
  • Basic technical logs. Like most sites, our hosting and analytics tools may note things like browser type, device, pages viewed and a rough location from your IP address, mainly for security and to understand site usage.
  • Cookies. Used for essential functions and, where switched on, analytics — see our Cookie Settings page.

3. Why We Collect It

Strictly to run and improve the Service, answer messages sent through the Contact page, keep things secure, and meet any legal obligations that apply to us.

4. Who We Share It With

We don't sell personal data. It may pass to service providers who help us run the Service (a hosting company, for instance, or our payment processor for Pro subscriptions), or where the law requires it.

5. How Long We Keep It

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists; contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry and for our own records after that.

6. Your Rights Over Your Data

7. Children

This Service isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't set out to collect information from them.
